Villa Rusulica has a fully equipped kitchen, so be sure to visit local fish and green markets. Feel free to pick Mediterranean herbs and vegetables from our organic garden.
Discover the food
Dalmatian cuisine is considered one of the most delicious and the healthiest of the Mediterranean pattern of eating. Since the ancient times Dalmatians used simple cooking techniques and a rich variety of natural products, such as fresh vegetables and fruits, native wild greens, natural herbs, sheep and goat cheeses, fresh fish, grilled meat and of course the well-known Dalmatian extra virgin olive oil, which is the great pride of the area.
Our own organic garden
We grow an organic vegetable garden, according to the biological and synergetic method, to provide fresh seasonal vegetables for our guests. Over the past years we have been developing this wonderful area into our sustainable organic garden. During the summer time we grow different kind of vegetables, mostly tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, herbs and variety of fruits. If you are walking through the garden please pick some lavender and the beautiful smell will linger with you all day.
